A: ALL, without exception!
The Global Diversity Career Expo &
Multilingual Job Fair is open to anyone
interested in
using their foreign language
and cross-cultural or international
competencies at work,
to some extent -
regardless of
their industry, specialty and prior experience.
Professionals of all backgrounds and levels,
students and recent grades are all invited. Top
employers seeking executive level, achieved
professionals and entry-level candidates/interns
recruit at the
Global Diversity Career Expos & Multilingual
Job Fairs.
Non-bilinguals are not excluded! In the
absolute spirit of diversity & inclusion,
and unlike most diversity events which tend
to turn minority-exclusive, all candidates
are absolutely welcome, whether or not they
belong to minority groups.
At the request of some of our participating
employers, we've even created a section on
the exhibit floor for those quality
candidates who may not necessarily be bilingual
or multicultural but seek
to find better employment opportunities thru
this forum.
Q: How should I dress for the Global
Diversity Career Expos & Multilingual Job
Fairs?
A: Dress for success! That means
business attire, or what you would normally
wear to a formal job interview. Remember,
you will be meeting prospective employers
and leaders who can help advance your
career. So, if you’re serious about your
career, your attire (and posture) should
show it at all times!
Q: What are the benefits of
attending?
A: Beside the exposure to and
opportunity to meet over hundreds of prestigious

Presentation sessions, Resume/Coaching

This is your unique chance to meet and

employers from a broad spectrum of

Q: What will I learn from the career
expos and corporate presentation sessions?
A: You will gain expert insight about

Q: What should I bring with me to the
Global Diversity Career Expos & Multilingual
Job Fairs?
A: Bring sufficient copies of your
current résumé. If you need help, career
coaches/counselors will be onsite to help
you review or prepare one before you head on
to meet hiring employers on the
exhibit/interview floors. Attending the
sessions will be very helpful in learning
about a companies' commitment to Diversity
and the applications they have for it and
setting up the best strategy to get your
dream job/career.
Q: Can I setup interview appointments
in advance?
A: You can pre-register in advance!
To secure appointments in advance, simply
upload your resume on MultiLingualPros.com.
Employers will review your resume before the
event and many of them will reserve private
interview booth and preset interview times
for select attending candidates, and you may
not even have to stay inline visiting their
booth.
Q: What happens if I am late for my
interview appointment?
A: Be on time. Recruiters will
have their hands full with each booth
receiving/interviewing hundreds of
candidates per day during the event. Keep in
mind thousands of candidates like yourself are
expected to be there. Appointments fill up
rapidly and they'll have people on standby
for an open spot. If you are not there on
time, they
will fill your appointment with another job
seeker. Plus, you'd have missed on the
opportunity to make the best impression with
a potential employer of choice by simply being
on time.
Q: I am not sure what sessions I
should go to. What do I do in this case?
A: You can speak with one of the
coordinators of the Career Expo/Corporate
Presentation sessions or Information Booth
representatives at the event and they will
guide you to the appropriate sessions.
Q: What are the days and hours of the
Jobs Fairs?
A: Please refer to event details for
each city we are visiting

and come in early to avoid long stay in the
Registration

Q: Do you publish a list of hiring
organizations?
A: A full list of the attending
organizations is available in the exhibitors
directory during the event. Sponsoring
exhibitors will be featured online and
offline prior to event. For each event, onsite attendees
will be given the privilege of exclusive
access to a complete employers directory,
which will be published after each job fair.
Q: Can I schedule a private
interview appointment on the day of the
event?
A: Have your resume uploaded on
MultiLingualPros.com for employers to
preview and schedule meeting you in advance.
They will also decide upon meeting you at
their booth whether they should take you in
for a private interview or not.
Q: How many Career Expo/Corporate
Presentation sessions can I attend?
A: Attendees are free to attend as
many sessions as they wish. Keep in mind
Career Expo/Corporate Presentation sessions
will be going on during exhibit time. You
must be very organized to make the most of
both - meet and/or interview with employers
of interest to you and take advantage of the
ongoing sessions during the event.

available?
A: Hundreds of employers will
be represented at the Fairs with thousands
of jobs! They vary widely, across levels (from executives
to apprentice), industries (including
automotive, education, insurance, retail,
technology, banking, hospitality,
advertising/marketing,
pharmaceutical/healthcare and more) and
specialties (from to sales to accounting to
IT and more) - see Industries represented

Q: Are these Multilingual Jobs Fairs open to students/recent grades?
A: Yes. This event may be attended by
anyone looking for new career opportunities.
Q: What types of resources will be
available to me if I attend?
A: In addition to the many employers
who will be at the fair, employment coaches,
career counselors, international business
experts and more will be their to help you
make the most of your attendance.
Q: Do I need to pre-register?
A: Yes, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
FOR ADMISSION. Pre-registering also gives you priority access
and seating for the highly attended
sessions. When space runs out, you will not
have to worry about missing out on a
session.
To

Q: How can I make the most of my time
at the Job Fair?
A: When you arrive at the Job Fair,
you will be given a classy attendee tote bag
with a map showing the location of
participating employers, a event program and
directory books with all necessary
information regarding the employers
exhibiting, their description job openings
and more. Employers have been assigned booth
and will have print, video and/or electronic
information to share with you. Many will
even hold information sessions to fully
introduce you to their organization and
opportunities. Remember that thousands of candidates like
yourself will be attending. If there are
several attendees waiting to speak to a
particular organization, you may want to go
talk to another employer and come back
later. We recommend that carefully review
the employers' profile in the exhibitors
book, try to speak with recruiters
rather than just picking up literature and
walking away. Recruiting is a direct
contact sport, so is career advancement!
Q: Will there be food?
A: Food and beverages will be
available at some locations or career
sessions. Food
courts or job seekers lounges will be setup on the exhibit floor and
food carts can be found throughout various venue.
